How could VR be used to train people in abilities that could have a powerful positive impact on their communities? Imagine learning what it takes to preserve the art of sword-making or gain the knowledge to build a water refinery for developing nations. With the right interactive tools, anyone could learn tactile, “hard” skills under the tutelage of ever-patient instructors. As the world continues to become more complex and rapid-paced, we must strive to protect the intangible qualities of human culture and make it available for future generations.
